Challenge
The existing user interface for Play Attention was outdated and not optimized for a diverse user needs, which included coaches setting up training programs and supporting students of different age groups during training sessions.
The challenge was to create an engaging, user-friendly interface that would accommodate these distinct user needs, all while streamlining the process for coaches and keeping students engaged through the training program.
Approach
Design & Prototyping
I worked iteratively with the product team to first create low-fidelity interactive prototypes for the coach and student environments. The coach interface focused on simplifying program setup and progress monitoring, while the student interface was designed to be engaging and age-appropriate.
Engaging User Experience
The student interface was designed to keep users motivated, with simple navigation and clear progress tracking. I have created visual design adaptations tailored to 3 different age groups.
Coach Interface
The coach dashboard was designed to streamline the creation and scheduling of training programs and the evaluation of student performance, making it easy for coaches to monitor progress and adjust training as needed.
Brand Redesign:
I led the brand refresh to create a cohesive look across the platform. This involved updating the logo, color scheme, and typography to reflect the platform’s innovative and professional approach.
Front-End Development
In addition to design, I contributed to the front-end development of the new interface, ensuring smooth implementation of the UI/UX.
